Slova is a language-learning app that starts with why you're learning. Say what you want the language for (a career, a move abroad, family, travel or something you love) and Slova builds a whole learning path around it, mixing text, voice and images and adapting as you go.
The name is Russian: slova (слова) means “words”. It suits an app where every word you meet, in a lesson, a photo, something you listen to or a text you read, ends up in your own Lexicon.
Who we are
Slova was founded in July 2026 by Yiğit Karasu and Şeymanur Küçük, a small team of language learners and engineers from Koç University. We started building it in March 2026, and we build it in Türkiye.
