Questions
About the tools, the results and your level. Something else? Write to [email protected].
Are these English tools free?
Yes. Every tool on this page is free and starts without an account. After some results you can ask for a copy by email, but you never need to give an email to see your result.
Which English test should I take first?
Start with the English level test. It has 25 questions on grammar, vocabulary and reading, takes about 10 minutes and gives an estimated CEFR level from A1 to C1. Then try the speaking test or the vocabulary test to see the skills it does not cover.
Are the results official?
No. The results are estimates to guide your practice. An official IELTS, Duolingo English Test or Cambridge result comes only from that exam.
What do the CEFR levels A1 to C2 mean?
The CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) describes language ability in six levels: A1 and A2 for beginners, B1 and B2 for independent users, and C1 and C2 for advanced users. Most of our tests estimate a level from A1 to C1.
